Overview
Building Blocks are draft strategic content snippets designed to help you develop filings, memoranda, letters, and other legal work products that support your position in a matter. As LitiSync gathers context and facts, the system automatically generates and updates Building Blocks tailored to the matter.
Before You Begin
- A matter must be active and undergoing fact collection.
- LitiSync must have gathered sufficient context to begin generating Building Blocks.
Step-by-Step Instructions

From within the matter workspace, navigate to Building Blocks using the sidebar navigation.
2. Review Available Building Blocks
Each matter includes a standard set of Building Blocks, which may include:
- Case Stories that narrate the client’s experience
- Evidence Lists
- Character / Witness Lists
- Material Facts Summaries
- Interrogatory Question Guides
Additional strategy-focused content generated as the case develops
3. Preview and Use Content
Select any Building Block to preview the generated content.
From the preview screen, you can:
- Review the draft content
- Copy an unformatted version for use in Word, Google Docs, or other drafting tools
4. Regenerate Based on New Findings
As additional facts are gathered, you may regenerate Building Blocks to reflect the most current case information. All versions are saved and displayed in chronological order, allowing you to track how the content evolves over time.
What Happens Next
As LitiSync continues processing the matter, new Building Blocks will be created and existing ones may be enhanced based on additional evidence, chronology updates, and strategic analysis.
